মুন্সীগঞ্জের টঙ্গীবাড়ীতে তীব্র তাপদাহে বিদ্যালয়ে পাঠদানের সময় শ্রেণিকক্ষে সুমি আক্তার (১৪) নামে ষষ্ঠ শ্রেণির এক ছাত্রী অজ্ঞান হয়ে গেছে। রোববার দুপুরে উপজেলার হাসাইল বানারী ইউনিয়নের বানারী বহুমুখী উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়ে ক্লাস চলাকালে এ ঘটনা ঘটে। ঘটনার পরপরই ওই শিক্ষার্থীকে টঙ্গীবাড়ী উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সে নিয়ে যায় বিদ্যালয় কর্তৃপক্ষ। শিক্ষার্থী সুমি আক্তার হাসাইল বানারী ইউনিয়নের আটিগাঁও গ্রামের সুমন মুন্সীর মেয়ে। বিদ্যালয়ের প্রধান শিক্ষক মোহাম্মদ কায়েসুর রহমান জানান, প্রচণ্ড গরমে বিদ্যালয়ের ষষ্ঠ শ্রেণির এক ছাত্রী অসুস্থ হলে তাকে উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সে নিয়ে গিয়ে চিকিৎসা দেওয়া হয়।

A team from Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) has bagged third place in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region of telecom technology giant Huawei's Information and Communication Technology Competition (ICT Competition).
