The temperature in Panchagarh, the northern district of the country, has dropped to 15.0 degrees Celsius due to its proximity to the Himalayas.
The minimum temperature in Tentulia was recorded at 9 am today, Monday (November 14), at 15 degrees Celsius.
Md. Roknuzzaman, an observer at the Meteorological Observatory in Tentulia, Panchagarh, confirmed the matter to Dhaka Mail.
He said, the lowest temperature recorded in Tentulia at 9 am today was 15.0 degrees Celsius. Yesterday, the temperature was recorded in Tentulia at 15.3 degrees Celsius. However, the temperature will start decreasing further in the future.
Meanwhile, although the daytime temperature in the district has increased slightly, it feels quite cold in the afternoon due to the icy winds blowing from the northern Himalayas. Such cold weather prevails from night to the next morning.
