Many drink less water in winter due to lack of thirst. But it can cause dehydration in the body. Lack of water in the body in winter increases the risk of various diseases.

A study by the University of New Hampshire in the UK has shown that dehydration increases in winter. As people do not feel thirsty with this seasonal temperature drop, they also forget to drink enough water. Wearing warm clothes in winter makes the body more warm. Sweat evaporates more quickly in cold, dry air, resulting in dehydration.

According to medical science, 30 percent of the body is fluid and the remaining 70 percent is bone and marrow. This is why experts compare water with life. Humans can survive for some time without food but it is impossible to survive without water. That is, life cannot be imagined without water.

Generally everyone takes the problem of dehydration very lightly. As a result, many people became ill. Dehydration in the body causes several symptoms. For example-

1. When the body lacks water, the lips become very dry and the skin starts to crack. Sometimes the lips also bleed.

2. Due to lack of water, the throat is constantly dry and there is frequent thirst. Even drinking water repeatedly does not remove the thirst.

3. Lack of water in the body can lead to mild heartburn, acidity or stomach discomfort. Along with this, there is bad breath. You may experience bad breath even after brushing.

Also drinking less water can increase the problem of constipation, acidity. Skin becomes dry and skin problems increase in winter. Lack of water causes electrolyte levels in the body to drop.
