Chargesheet filed against photojournalist Kajol

The Metropolitan Detective Police has filed a chargesheet against photojournalist Shafiqul Islam Kajal in a case filed under the Digital Security Act at the capital's Hazaribagh Police Station. The case's investigation officer, Sub-Inspector Mohammad Russell Molla, submitted the chargesheet. The concerned court official confirmed the matter on Saturday. Osman Ara Beli, a member of the Jubo Mohila League's central committee, filed the case at the Hazaribagh Police Station on March 10, 2020. Shafiqul Islam Kajal went missing after leaving his home in the capital's Chawkbazar on March 11 last year. 53 days after his disappearance, photojournalist and editor of the daily Pakshakal Shafiqul Islam Kajal was arrested on the night of May 2 for trespassing from Sadipur, a field on the Indian border in Benapole, Jessore.

One lakh more families will get pucca houses in Mujib Year

As a gift from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in Mujib Barsho, one lakh more landless and homeless families are getting pucca houses in the second phase.
