Pradeep Kumar Roy: Like the rest of the country, the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations have started in Raipur, Lakshmipur from Thursday (September 15). This year, a total of 3,570 students are taking part in the SSC and equivalent examinations at five centers in the upazila, said Secondary Education Officer Saiful Haque. Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has banned the public from entering within 200 yards of the SSC and equivalent examination centers to be held next Thursday (September 14). This ban was issued in a notification signed by DMP Commissioner Mohd. Shafiqul Islam on Wednesday (September 14). It said that the SSC and equivalent examinations are going to be held from Thursday (September 15). Some restrictions have been imposed at the centers during the examination to ensure a fair and peaceful examination. Head of State Sheikh Hasina has called on doctors to serve patients from a humanitarian perspective.
