The Gemcon Literary Award-2022 has been received by two poets, Kamal Chowdhury and Shakib Mahmud, and novelist Sajidul Islam. Veteran lawyer and BNP leader Advocate Khandaker Mahbub Hossain has passed away. (Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajeun). He was 84 years old.
