Police are conducting a raid on a Jamaat office in Lakshmipur. Law enforcement officials have already arrested two people. On Saturday (September 24), the police launched the raid in the city's Dakshin Tehmuni area on a tip-off at around 3 pm. Later, two people named Abdur Rahman (50) and Md. Sumon (28) were arrested. The country's four municipalities and one upazila parishad will be elected using electronic voting machines (EVMs). The schedule for the elections to be held on November 2 has already been announced. Police have arrested two thieves with two stolen motorcycles in Lakshmipur. They were sent to jail through a court today (September 21) afternoon.
