  The results of the MBBS first-year admission test for the 2023-24 academic year have been published in government and private medical colleges of the country. 1 lakh 2 thousand 369 people participated in the admission test. 49 thousand 923 people passed. The pass rate is 47.83 percent. Health and Family Welfare Minister Professor Dr. Samanta Lal Sen announced the results of the test at a function organized at the meeting room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Sunday (February 11) at noon. The MBBS admission test was held on February 9. This year, students will be admitted to 5 thousand 380 seats in 37 government medical colleges and 6 thousand 295 seats in 67 approved private medical colleges. Admission is carried out as per the conditions of the policy formulated by the 'Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council'.
