ঘূর্ণিঝড় সিত্রাং আজ (সোমবার) সন্ধ্যায় আঘাত হানবে বলে জানিয়েছেন দুর্যোগ ব্যবস্থাপনা ও ত্রাণ প্রতিমন্ত্রী ডা. এনামুর রহমান। ঘূর্ণিঝড় সিত্রাং নিয়ে সোমবার (২৪ অক্টোবর) সচিবালয়ে এক  ব্রিফিংয়ে সাংবাদিকদের তিনি একথা জানান। তিনি বলেন, ঘূর্ণিঝড় সিত্রাং সিভিয়ার সাইক্লোনে রূপান্তরিত  হয়েছে। আবহাওয়াবিদের তথ্য অনুযায়ী, আজ সন্ধ্যায় এটি আঘাত হানবে। আগামীকাল মঙ্গলবার ভোর ৬টা থেকে ৭টার মধ্যে উপকূল অতিক্রম  করবে। তিনি আরও বলেন, সিত্রাং  বাংলাদেশে আঘাত হানবে। ভারতে আঘাত হানার সম্ভাবনা নেই। সব থেকে বেশি আঘাত  হানবে বরগুনা এবং পটুয়াখালী।
