Md. Mobarak Hossain, Narsingdi Correspondent: Two madrasa students have gone missing after going for a picnic in Narsingdi and taking a bath in the Meghna River. The body of one of them, Md. Ghalib Haque (15), has been recovered. His body was recovered 20 hours after he went missing. The body was recovered from the Meghna River in Char Afzal of Alokbali Union of Narsingdi at around 1 pm on Friday (October 28). Tarek Aziz: A special prayer and supplication has been organized to prevent the erosion of the Meghna River in Kamalnagar, Lakshmipur. The residents of the erosion-affected area broke down in tears. Everyone prayed to Allah Almighty for relief from the erosion. They sought Allah's mercy to protect the ancestral homes and graves. On Friday (October 28), a large number of people attended the prayer in Ludhua area of Charfalkon Union of the upazila at around 10:30 am. A mobile court has fined two establishments Tk 20,000 for preparing food in unhygienic conditions and selling expired products in Lakshmipur.
