২০২৩ সালের পবিত্র রমজান মাস কবে শুরু হবে তার সম্ভাব্য তারিখ ঘোষণা করেছে সংযুক্ত আরব আমিরাত। দেশটির ইংরেজি দৈনিক খালিজ টাইমসের এক প্রতিবেদনে বলা হয়, জ্যোতির্বিজ্ঞান সংক্রান্ত প্রতিষ্ঠান এমিরেটস অ্যাস্ট্রোনমিক্যাল সোসাইটি হিসেব-নিকেশ অনুযায়ী ২০২৩ সালের রমজান মাস আগামী ২৩ মার্চ (বৃহস্পতিবার) শুরু হতে পারে। এ এ বছরের রমজান মাস ২৯ দিন হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে। সেই হিসেবে পবিত্র ঈদুল ফিতরের প্রথম দিন হবে আগামী ২১ এপ্রিল (শুক্রবার)। এছাড়া চলতি বছরে সংযুক্ত আরব আমিরাত থেকে দু’টি চন্দ্রগ্রহণ দেখা যাবে বলেও জানিয়েছেন এমিরেটস অ্যাস্ট্রোনমিক্যাল সোসাইটির চেয়ারম্যান ইব্রাহিম আল জারওয়ান।

চীনা প্রযুক্তি জায়ান্ট এন্ট গ্রুপের নিয়ন্ত্রণ ছাড়ছেন জ্যাক মা। আলিবাবা গ্রুপ হোল্ডিং লিমিটেডের অঙ্গপ্রতিষ্ঠান এন্ট গ্রুপ। আলিবাবা গ্রুপের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা চীনা ধনকুবের জ্যাক মা। জ্যাক মা বর্তমানে এন্ট গ্রুপের ১০ শতাংশের শেয়ারের মালিক। জ্যাক মা এন্ট গ্রুপে তাঁর শেয়ার পর্যায়ক্রমে বাজারে ছেড়ে দেবেন। এ প্রক্রিয়াটি সম্পন্ন হলে এন্ট গ্রুপের সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণে হস্তক্ষেপ করার ক্ষমতা হারাবেন তিনি। ইতোমধ্যে কোম্পানিটির শেয়ার হস্তান্তর শুরু করেছেন তিনি। রয়টার্স জানিয়েছে, ব্যবসায়িক কার্যক্রম ঢেলে সাজিয়ে আর্থিক প্রতিষ্ঠান হিসেবে আত্মপ্রকাশ করবে এ কোম্পানিটি। এ পরিবর্তনে চীনা নিয়ন্ত্রক সংস্থার চাপ না থাকলেও সমর্থন আছে। তবে এ বিষয়ে জ্যাক মা কিংবা এন্ট গ্রুপ থেকে কিছু জানানো হয়নি।
