 Lakshmipur: Eid-ul-Adha is being celebrated in advance in 10 villages in Lakshmipur in line with Saudi Arabia. The main Eid prayer congregation was held at 10 am on Friday (September 1) at the Talimun Quran Noorani Madrasa ground in Noagaon Bazar, Ramganj Upazila. Maulana Aminul Islam led the prayer. In addition, Eid prayers were offered in the Eidgah grounds of 10 villages including Joypura, Bigha, Baroghariya, Hotatia, Sharshoi, Kanchanpur and Raipur Upazilas of Ramganj Upazila and Bashikpur village of Sadar Upazila. Later, they sacrificed animals.
