2 establishments fined for selling expired food in Lakshmipur
A mobile court has fined two establishments Tk 20,000 for preparing food in unhygienic conditions and selling expired products in Lakshmipur. On Thursday (October 27), Executive Magistrate SM Sirajul Salehin of the District Commissioner's Office fined Sramik Hotel and Shahin Hotel in Chandraganj Bazar, Sadar Upazila, in the presence of police. According to the mobile court sources, food was prepared in unhygienic conditions and excessive alcoholic drinks were sold at Sramik Hotel. After conducting a drive to find out the truth about the incident, the mobile court fined the establishment owner Tk 10,000.
