300 kg of TCB products found in grocery store in Lakshmipur
Staff Correspondent: About 300 kg of food items of Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) have been recovered from the residence of a grocer in Lakshmipur. These goods were recovered from Kuruji's house in Paschim Mandari village of Sadar upazila on Saturday (October 29) afternoon. Upazila Executive Officer Md. Imran Hossain conducted the operation with the assistance of the National Security Intelligence (NSI). The recovered goods are - 200 kg of TCB pulses, 40 kg of sugar and 62 liters of oil. The recovered goods are in the custody of the upazila administration. It is learned that these TCB products were illegally warehoused from Lakshmipur Terdas and Megha Terdas dealer Mohammad Mamun and were sold to Pabel and Afzal Patwari's son of Paschim Mandari village of the upazila.
