Two brothers, Hasan and Hossain, were killed in a road accident in Joksin Bazar of Lakshmipur Sadar Upazila on Friday (December 8) at around 4 pm.
They are residents of Shafipur village in Laharkandi union of Sadar upazila. However, their father's name was not immediately available.
Locals said that the two brothers were driving a van on their way home after purchasing a new refrigerator from Lakshmipur when they were hit by a passenger bus of Anand Paribahan from Chowmuhani in Joksin Bazar. The two brothers were killed on the spot.
