BNP's divisional mass rally will begin at 2 pm today at the Collectorate Eidgah ground in Rangpur.
Leaders and activists from various districts and upazilas of this division arrived at night and took up positions in the field. Many have taken up positions in various neighborhoods, school grounds, and club grounds of Rangpur city. The police administration is on alert around this rally.
There are CCTV cameras around the rally site and it is being monitored by CCTV cameras under the City Corporation.
The matter was confirmed by Rangpur Metropolitan Police Additional Police Commissioner Md. Sayfuzzaman Farooqui.
It can be seen on the ground that adequate police have been deployed around the rally site. In addition to the Rangpur Metropolitan Police, there is also the district police. Police have been deployed at various points in the city. Police checkposts have been set up at the entrances of the district and the city.
Everyone is on alert to prevent any chaos surrounding the rally. A month-long trade fair is going on next to the rally venue. The trade fair is closed today due to the rally.
Additional Police Commissioner Md. Sayfuzzaman Farooqui said that there are CCTV cameras around the rally ground. The Metropolitan Police has made all kinds of preparations for the rally.
