Keeping in mind the slogan "Endless journey on the path of truth", the first anniversary of "Positive Bangla TV" was celebrated in Palash, Narsingdi.
A discussion meeting, cake cutting and prayers were held at the Palash Upazila Press Club on Friday (November 18) at 6 pm to mark the second anniversary of the online channel.
The event organized under the chairmanship of "Positive Bangla TV" editor Billal Hossain was attended by Palash Upazila Chairman Syed Jabed Hossain, Ghorashal Municipality Awami League President and former Mayor Alhaj Shariful Haque, Palash Upazila Press Club President SM Shafi, General Secretary Md. Asadullah (Mona), Daily Public Bangla Editor Kabi Shah Borhan Mehedi, Daily Jugantor Correspondent Jahangir Kabir, Daily Ittefaq Correspondent Akhtaruzzaman, Manabkantha Correspondent Haji Zahid, Daily Ameer Economise Correspondent Mahabub Syed, Daily Swapno Pratidin Staff Reporter Md. Shafiqul Islam, Narsingdi Kanthaswar Editor Md. Sabbir Hossain, Daily Odhikar Correspondent Nasim Azad, Manabzaminye Correspondent Rubel Sarwar, Khola Kagoj Correspondent Siam Sarkar, Narsingdi TV Correspondent Tahmina Shashi, Daily Matprakash Correspondent Nazmul Haque Moni, Bhorer Dhanyar Staff Reporter Munjur Hossain Khan, journalist Kamrul, and representatives of Asian TV and Amed Somi newspaper were present. During the brief discussion, the speakers said, 'Journalists are the conscience of the nation. By publishing objective news, the mask is revealed to the nation. I don't know all the information about whether there are any drugs, terrorism, or corrupt people. I can find out through you.'
I extend my best wishes and congratulations to all journalists on the occasion of the first anniversary of Positive Bangla TV. The event was attended by writers, poets, literary figures, columnists, and guests from various walks of life.
