Sumi Akhtar (14), a student of class VI, fainted in the classroom during the intense heat in Tongibari, Munshiganj. The incident took place during classes at Banari Bahumukhi High School of Hasail Banari Union of Upazila on Sunday afternoon.
Immediately after the incident, the school authorities took the student to Tongibari Upazila Health Complex.
Student Sumi Akhtar Hasail is the daughter of Sumon Munsi of Atigaon village of Banari Union.
The head teacher of the school Mohammad Kayesur Rahman said that when a student of the sixth grade of the school fell ill in the hot summer, she was taken to the Upazila Health Complex and given treatment.
